Friends of Bruny Island Foundation for the Arts (‘Friends of Bruny’) is the Foundation's donation program.  Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. 

Friends of Bruny promote, support and contribute to the development of a nationally and globally significant arts presence on Bruny Island.

By becoming a Friend of Bruny you will be:

• Contributing to unique and important arts initiatives, such as BRUNY20

• Supporting artists to explore the theme of identify and environment, which will produce new ways for people in Australia and around the world to communicate, debate and understand issues such as climate change and marine protection

• Making a positive and tangible contribution to Bruny Island, a place that gives positive experiences to 150,000 interstate and international visitors per year

• Welcomed into the diverse ‘Bruny Island’ family and stay connected through the Foundation and its events

• Making a safe and secure investment in a Foundation with an established track record of successfully delivering major initiatives on Bruny Island and ethically and responsibly managing funds.

• Invited to VIP status at public and private events associated with BRUNY20

• Acknowledged in Foundation communication materials, distributed nationally and internationally

• Helping to ensure the future of BRUNY22, BRUNY24 and so forth, and in so doing helping to establish an important artistic legacy in one of Australia’s most iconic locations.

We offer great things for art lovers and supporters of the environment, including quarterly newsletters and advance notification of artist initiatives. We host a range of activities and events, connect the community to the arts and the environment, and raise money to support important projects and initiatives within the arts on Bruny Island.
